CONSTRUCTION

2-Layer Construction

The parquet is that the top layer with a 4 mm (0.141") dry sawn is glued on the underlayer. The underlayer, called the stabilising layer, simplifies the assembly and improves resistance to deformation. The underlayer is made out of birch hardwood. Oak and Style is covered with three layers of oil-wax by Osmo. Thanks to the layered technology the floor is exceptionally durable against mechanical damages.

  • Thickness 15 mm (0.591″) with T&G

  • Length – 2200 mm (86.56″)

  • Width – 190 mm (7.5″)

3-Layer Construction

The parquet is a three layer sandwich board.

The top layer consists of a solid timber species according to the customer’s preference (oak, walnut etc.) approximately 3.2 mm (0.14”) thick. The surface layer is finished with 7 layers of protective materials by Bona.

The middle layer is in solid pine finger strips approximately 9 mm (0.35”) thick for strength. This layer is cross-glued to distribute the innate tension optimally acting within the individual layers. The parquet stays in top form for a long time.

The bottom layer is birch veneer 1.5 mm (0.06”) thick, which makes the whole construction very stable and more resistant to humidity from the bottom.

  • Thickness – 14 mm (0.55’’) with T&G

  • Length – 2100~2390 mm (82.68"~94”)

  • Width – 204 mm (8.03”)
